What an awesome time! We were going to do this event ourselves and figured we'd invite people to come out and try it with us! A bunch of people tried a weighted mile with varying weights. Some carried around 20lbs all the way up to 110lbs for one person! Joel wanted to do this event to beat his time from last year (linked here), and this was Luke's first shot at the 100lb mile challenge.
If you are in good health and fit, we recommend it as a fun challenge; especially with friends. We don't recommend running with additional weight regularly, especially 100lbs, but every once a year or so shouldn't be an issue. Leave us a comment and let us know how you do!
